Samuel Clemens recounts his life as the legendary Mark Twain and the history that surrounded him through stories and images of the times.Against a backdrop of historic images, Samuel Clemens recounts the life and times of Mark Twain from his meager childhood to literary titan to humble end. No matter the highs or lows, Sam is always able to find the ‘every man’ humor in his situation with a “snapper.”
This original, solo show, won five T.A.N.Y.S. awards in 2022 on its way to this limited NYC engagement. Twain’s observations of life are , for better or worse, still so applicable today.
