THE JACKIE MASON MUSICAL: A COMEDY

Jackie Mason lives again in this hilarious play based on a true story with love-child Sheba Mason and a riotously funny cast.

The show features Jackie’s striking look-alike Ian Wehrle, real life daughter comic, Sheba Mason, and a compelling cast of characters.

With book, music and lyrics by Ginger Reiter (Sheba Mason’s mother), The “soaring” musical score features original songs like “Ode to the Early Bird Special”, “The Finger”, and “I Never Met This Yenta”.

Set in Miami Beach 1977-1987, the story encapsulates the charm and nostalgia of that era, as Jackie’s romantic misadventures clash with his ascension to Broadway stardom, and Sheba is born.

At the conclusion of the show Sheba answers the question many have asked
since Jackie Mason passed away in August 2021:
“Did he leave you anything in his will?”

Join Oh Soledad – A Musical Journey exploring how one woman’s grace helped shape Costa Rica’s path to enduring peace.

Based on historical reality, Oh Soledad is the story of a woman who by her very persona, dignity, and grace made a significant contribution toward changing the ethos of her previously turbulent culture to an ethos of peace (which has sustained in Costa Rica for seventy years now). We desire to share this story hoping “the spirit of Soledad” will become embraced throughout our current cultures toward the goal of peace, and away from current trends.

This work was written to address the question “How and why did Costa Rica become and sustain as a nation of peace, in contradistinction to its neighbors of similar heritage? And “How can we now benefit from this example & lesson?”
