Welcome to Jules’ stunning Brentwood mansion, where hangry (she’s on a sugar cleanse) Marilyn is throwing a surprise birthday brunch for Claudia, who hates birthdays. Champagne corks pop—and tempers flare—when their long-estranged celebrity friend Zoey crashes the party, fresh from her TED Talks. Expect hilarity, outrageous rants, and unexpected wisdom about what it means to be a woman (no matter what pronouns you use) in the 21st century.

Her pink indulgence lands her at the doctor’s office with Pinkititis, an affliction that turns her pink from head to toe – a dream come true for this pink loving enthusiast! But when her hue goes too far, only Pinkalicious can figure out how to get out of this predicament.

Vital Theatre Company is dedicated to producing entertaining and educational theatre for young audiences. It commissions and produces three to five musicals for children each season. Actors Temple Theatre and the premiere of a new musical by Robert L. Hecker (HONESTLY ABE).

FLAK HOUSE ( the musical)  tells the story of the heroic young men who fought World War II in the air high over Hitler’s Germany and the women who nursed their combat fatigue, helping them to be able to fly again after a week’s stay in a flak house. With original music reminiscent of the 40’s as well as great dancing of the era–and a love story that could only take place in war-time.

Starring a cast of new faces, Amar Benkhoukha, Nancy Ellen Reinstein, Sean Bennett Geoghan, Travis James, Jeremiah Stanfield, Jordan Sangalang, Victor Albaum, Stefanie Londino and Hallie Wage, playing American WWII bomber crewmen, Red Cross volunteers and a beautiful English psychiatrist.

Robert L. Hecker (Writer/Lyricist/Composer) is a decorated Lt. Col USAF (Ret) veteran of WWII. His writing awards include: San Francisco Film Festival’s Golden Gate Award, Atlanta Film Festival’s Gold Award, five Information Film Producer of America “Cindy’ Awards and four United States “Cine” awards. He also has had fourteen novels published and five stage plays produced. His HONESTLY ABE is a long-running Off-Broadway musical. Robert is a graduate of the Pasadena Playhouse and Westlake College of Music, a member of the Dramatists Guild, WGA, Mystery Writers of America and the Alliance of LA Playwrights.

 Ashley Wren Collins (Director, Choreographer) is a New York City-based producer, director, choreographer, actor and writer. Collins produced and acted in the feature film, Chasing Taste, “Best Comedy” winner of the 2013 Burbank International Film Festival and the 2014 Manhattan Film Festival. She is the choreographer of Robert L. Hecker’s musical Honestly Abe. She starred opposite Malcolm McDowell in Pound of Flesh on Showtime and co-created, produced, choreographed and starred in the award-winning web series turned musical, Mother Eve’s Secret Garden of Sensual Sisterhood, for which she won “Outstanding Leading Actress.”
